POLICY & LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY
We want to ensure people and their pets are protected and remain housed. We seek to make sure that policies, administrative reviews and agency decisions address threats which displace people and their companion animals.
We provide legal assistance, including legal analysis, advocacy and representation, to residents and community groups working to protect low-income households from threats of displacement caused by issues with their companion animals.
MONTHLY LEGAL RESOURCE CLINICS
HEART L.A. participates in monthly clinics in collaboration with other organizations, bringing together both pet and housing legal resources to provide a full scope of services to the community.
