Born and raised in Los Angeles to Ecuadorean parents, Nathaly Medina became a housing attorney in order to prevent the spread of gentrification and end the displacement of underserved communities throughout her hometown. Prior to joining the HEART LA team, Nathaly worked as a supervising attorney at the Eviction Defense Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to closing the access to justice gap in eviction proceedings.
Nathaly received her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Art History and a Bachelor of Science in Film and Television from Boston University.
